Every
project starts by
identifying the problem or need.
This is where we have to put everything out on the table. It is
here that we have to clearly discuss the target audience, the
client's budget, the goals of the
project and the timeframe we have to work on the project. This
is the stage that sets the course for the entire process.
To
aid in this process we have a questionnaire
that is meant to get you thinking. We want
to know, in your words, what your company is about, what is working,
what isn't working and what your goals are. We want you to clearly
define your problem because we know if you didn't have one, you
wouldn't be talking to us.
When
we have clearly defined the problem and know what our goals are
we begin our own Research.
Our clients may think they have told
us everything and they have, but we need to know even more. We
need to conduct research beyond our client to understand their
competition, their customers / clients. We need to know what the
compeition is doing so we can do something different. We want
to learn about the target audience, where they hang out, what
makes them tick.
To
some, this may sound like an unnecessary step that they dont want
to pay for, but be warned, it is very important to know the competition
so that we are able to set our clients apart.
When
we finally know everything there is to know we Create.
This is where it gets juicy; where pen hits paper, where the creativity
begins to flow like a river of ideas. This phase of the project
has its own stages as well. Whether it is graphic design, marketing
planning, etc., we assemble our ideas, present the best ones to
you and then work with you to make revisions until its perfect.
When
we know we have got it right, it is time to Implement.
This is when the baby bird leaves
the nest and takes flight for the first time. The design concept
is only as good as the way it is implemented, which could include
printing, photography and/or copywriting. We have the right resources
to help get your message off the ground and to your target audience.
